Each summer, 200-300 educators from around the world attend the Lecture Breakers Virtual Summer Conference. 

They represent a variety of educational institutions: research universities, community colleges, medical schools, liberal arts colleges, HBCUs, technical schools, and private, public, and for-profit colleges, 
They teach in a variety of formats: in-person, blended, hybrid, and fully-online (synchronously + asynchronously). They teach undergraduate and graduate students, large classes, small classes, labs, seminars, and in the field or on the job site.
They are comfortable with technology, eager to learn, and always looking for new ways to engage students and improve learning.

Who attends the conference?

Educators

Most of the participants are new and experienced professors and instructors who teach college students. A small number of participants are postdoctoral scholars, graduate students, K-12 teachers, and professionals in training & development. 

What are they looking for? 

Educators are looking for products and services to support teaching. They will be looking for resources related to course design, effective instruction, student engagement, student success, grading & assessment, and technology. They may also be looking for resources to support their other responsibilities including productivity, writing, research, leadership, and communication,

Faculty Development Professionals

There will be a group of participants who are faculty development professionals. These colleagues include teaching center staff, instructional designers, librarians, technology experts, department chairs, and others who are involved in providing resources, programs, and events for faculty at their college or university. 

What are they looking for? 

They will be looking for resources to support faculty success. They are interested in finding speakers they can invite to present keynote sessions, facilitate workshops, and lead webinars for faculty. 

They are also looking for books, videos, technology tools, programs, etc. to add to their resource libraries and program offerings. In some cases, this audience may be looking for resources and technology tools for their entire department, college, and/or university.

Some participants are also be looking for consultants to support and advance the mission of their campus or unit. In addition to teaching resources, they may also be interested in resources that support writing, leadership, communication, research, faculty well-being, and other professional and personal development resources.

1 complimentary ticket to the conference ($397 value). Includes access to all sessions, the private podcast, the Lecture Breakers Lounge, and recordings for 30 days.

You will get a special section in the Lecture Breakers Lounge, an online community space (we will us Circle.so) where you can connect directly with participants, post helpful resources, and answer questions before, during, and after the conference.
